Theo is your average college student, grappling with every student's worst nightmare: the research paper. Theo's subject is a serial killer, and as his research drags on, Theo's work grows into an obsession with deadly consequences.

Friend and longtime collaborator David Alkhed hauled off and directed a psychological thriller while I was away working on my senior thesis, "Deepest Blue, Blackest Night." A short, simple, straight-shooting piece that manages to be equal parts chilling and engaging. When called upon to score, I opted to match the chilliness with a minimalist, often avant-garde score with a touch of orchestral color thanks to some quality strings and harp. As always, I hope you enjoy this latest excursion into film scoring.
